Cabtyre cable is a general term for cables with strong sheath. Generally, it is a wire used for the wiring of stationary electrical equipment at mines, farms, construction sites, etc. Since it is coated with chloroprene rubber of good elasticity, it has high mechanical resistance including impact, friction, and bending resistance. In addition, because of its strong chemical resistance (e.g., water, heat, acid and alkali resistance), it is widely used for applications in this field.
Characteristics
Conductor : Stranded Tinned Annealed Copper
Insulation: Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR)
Sheath: Chloroprene Rubber
Reference Standard: KS C IEC 60502-1
*RoHS Certificated
Types
PNCT (Formerly 2PNCT, 2RNCT)
PNCT-R (Formerly 3PNCT, 3RNCT)
PNCT-S
PNCT-TC
PNCT-F
PNCT-RF
PNCT-B
PNCT-BS
PNCT : Cabtyre Cable with Ethylene Propylene Rubber(EPR) Insulated, Chloroprene Rubber Sheathed
RNCT : Cabtyre Cable with Natural Rubber Insulated(NR), Chloroprene Rubber Sheathed
*Since natural rubber-based RNCT is poor in weatherability and oil resistance, it is now produced as a synthetic rubber-based PNCT.
